Pavan, a company of world-leading technology group GEA, showcased its scope of expertise for pasta processing, milling and packaging at the fair Ipack-Ima 2018 in Milan. One of the new technologies Pavan presented in Milan was new MULTIDRIVE technology. The new technology allows manufacturers to make long cut pasta of unrivalled quality at the same time delivering energy savings and a reduced overall footprint.
NEW MULTIDRIVE TECHNOLOGY
Pavan also launched its new MRD540 forming machine for fresh filled pasta at Ipack-Ima 2018. With quick die change capabilities it is suitable for the production of single sheet ravioli, fagottini and cappelletti and both hard and soft fillings.
Historical Italian brand Stiavelli, which is part of the Pavan Group, showcased its enriched range of highly reliable and durable equipment for the pasta industry including its new SVML/SDFQ packaging machine featuring the SPC20 weigher at Ipack-Ima. Thanks to its special mechanics, this high speed, continuous motion packaging machine can pack both brick and pillow bags.
At the Ipack-Ima in Milan, Golfetto Sangati debuted its new GCTL bran cutter. The new machine reduces the granulometry of bran from 700-800 microns to 250 microns in a single process. The result is homogeneous wholegrain flour perfect for the requirements of the food processing industry.
